| The String Poets
formed in 2007 in Atlanta, GA, are a diverse group of musicians with influential styles in folk, celtic, classical, jazz and rock genres. |

| This eclectic combination
of players has come together creating a most unique sound built upon the original compositions as played on the acoustic guitar by Ronnda Cadle. Carol Statella on viola, generates harmonic undertow and melodic cross currents, and Sherry Iles on bass with Jordan Marshall on percussion reveal depth and rhythmic foundations, which all together reach in to take their listeners to soaring new heights. The String Poets have just completed their first studio album under the brilliant production of Don McCollister at Nickel & Dime Studios in Decatur, GA. The CD release party held on July 13th at Eddie's Attic, where the band performed the tracks live, was a great success, and the ladies would like to extend a warm thank you to all of those who attended, and to all of you for your continued support. |
